Before founding Career Advice Plus, Karen was an executive for several multinational corporations. As a former Sales/Marketing executive and consultant to Fortune 500 companies, she coached senior management and their teams on innovative business practices, managing change and career development. Additionally, she has owned a retained search firm, and been associated with the executive marking / corporate outplacement industry for over 10 years.

Along with her coaching practice, she is featured in major newspapers and has authored and collaborated on numerous articles and books. Karen conducts nationwide public seminars, a workshop on topics related to career management and leadership and also facilitates the seminar and networking series for 6 Figure Jobs.co, a Workstream Company. She is Past President of the Central Florida Chapter of the International Coach Federation, and a Founding member of the International Association of Coaches. Ms. Battoe is a former board member of the National Association of Women Business Owners and Safehouse of Seminole, a Domestic Violence agency.
